AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG TO ANNUALLY CONTRIBUTE AN AMOUNT NOT EXCEEDING NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE DOLLARS TO THE CENTER FOR GIFTED STUDIES; TO PROVIDE A REPEALER DATE OF JULY 1, 2003; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. (1) The governing authorities of the City of Hattiesburg may contribute annually, from any available funds, a sum of money not exceeding Nine Hundred Eighty-five Dollars ($985.00) to the Center for Gifted Studies.

(2) The provisions of this section shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2003.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
